When you choose to make Delmanor your home, there’s no blueprint for how you should live your life. We provide a safe, welcoming space with state-of-the-art amenities and engaging activities — but how you enjoy them is entirely up to you.

Current resident at Delmanor Prince Edward, Audrey, is the perfect example of someone living life on her own terms. A former executive secretary, Audrey is vivacious, energetic, and always on the move, embracing every day to the fullest.

The Best Aspects of Delmanor

For Audrey, the first word that comes to mind when she thinks of Delmanor Prince Edward is safety. Feeling secure is incredibly important to her, and she’s proud to call this community her home.

She also loves the atmosphere — “It’s like living in a luxury hotel,” she says, describing the elegant lobby, dining room, and natural setting along the Humber River, surrounded by trees.

A Full Life Inside and Outside Delmanor

Audrey takes full advantage of Delmanor’s vibrant social calendar, joining in fitness classes, food and community meetings, trivia nights, and the book club. Sometimes, she simply enjoys sitting by the fireside, chatting with friends.

Her days are just as full beyond our doors. Audrey takes ballroom and line dancing classes, belongs to the Probus Club (a social network for retirees with clubs, trips, and events across Canada), and regularly meets friends for breakfast or lunch. She enjoys long walks by the Humber River or the waterfront and often treats herself to a hair or nail appointment.

Looking ahead, she plans to join an art or calligraphy class at a local community centre this fall.

A Typical Week for Audrey

· Breakfast in the dining room, catching up with friends instead of staying in her suite.

· Tuesdays: Fitness class at 10:15, lunch to-go for her 12:30 line dancing class.

· Wednesdays: Lunch with friends, followed by a visit to her husband in long-term care.

· Walks by the river or waterfront (weather permitting).

· Hair and nail appointments for a little self-care.

Freedom and Safety — The Perfect Combination

For Audrey, Delmanor offers both the safety she values and the freedom to stay active in all the ways she chooses. She keeps her pre-move friendships alive while building new ones, filling her days with the things that make her happiest.

Audrey is just one of many residents thriving at Delmanor — each writing their own unique story.

When you’re ready to explore retirement living, Delmanor Prince Edward, a full-service retirement community in Etobicoke, would be delighted to welcome you. Join us for a Lunch & Tour and experience the Delmanor difference!
